Tekton Research Welcomes Endocrinologist Dr. Ben Phillips as Principal Investigator in Midlothian, Virginia

Midlothian, VA — Tekton Research is proud to welcome Ben Phillips, MD, a board-certified endocrinologist and leader in diabetes, obesity, and osteoporosis care, as a Principal Investigator. This partnership expands Tekton’s clinical research footprint into the Midlothian and Richmond, Virginia region.

With over 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Phillips brings deep expertise in treating metabolic disorders and a strong commitment to advancing patient care. Following his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, he earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed his Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center and McGuire Veterans Hospital. He is the founder of Virginia Endocrinology, a practice with 11 physicians that will soon feature a dedicated research wing and internal diabetes education center.

Dr. Phillips is an active member of the Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, Richmond Endocrinology Club, and the North American Association for the Study of Obesity. His clinical interests—including diabetes, obesity, metabolism, and high-risk osteoporosis—align closely with Tekton Research’s core therapeutic areas.
