With over two decades of experience in the endocrinology field, Dr. Shahid Aziz, is a double board-certified physician in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism as well as internal medicine.
Dr. Aziz’s medical journey began with an undergraduate degree in biology from Loyola University Chicago, followed by earning his medical degree from Ross University. He further honed his skills through a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in endocrinology at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, solidifying his commitment to providing exemplary care.

He is also certified as a Clinical Densitometrist (CCD), enabling accurate interpretation of bone density scans and effective treatment of osteoporosis. Dr. Aziz incorporates advanced methodologies in Diabetes treatment, including non-insulin therapies, insulin pump therapy, and continuous glucose monitoring.
Dr. Aziz actively participates in professional organizations such as the American Thyroid Association, the Endocrine Society, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
