Leading the way at the Cherryville clinic is Dr. Thomas White, Dr. White is a native of Cherryville, NC. He attended Duke University for his undergraduate and medical degrees before going on to complete a residency in Family Medicine at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. Returning to Cherryville in 1988, he founded Cherryville Primary Care, showcasing his deep roots in the community and extensive medical experience. Dr. White’s remarkable background positions him perfectly as a leader for this exciting venture.

Dr. White has made a lasting impact on the Cherryville community throughout his career. In 2015, he opened Hometown Direct Care, the first direct primary care practice in the area, which now offers care in both Cherryville and Shelby, NC. He is board-certified in Family Medicine and Clinical Lipidology. In 2015, he served as the President of the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians, and in 2020, he was selected as the North Carolina Family Physician of the Year by his peers.
