Doctors and clinic staff

A leader in clinical research, Tekton Research is proud to announce the grand opening of their newest clinic location in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

For more than a decade now, Tekton Research has never wavered from its focus of operating successful clinical trials across a network of clinical research locations throughout the United States. Tekton continues to grow, partnering with experienced research physicians, to pursue an investigative passion to uncover new information that may lead to discovering medical breakthroughs.

Tekton is proud to announce the opening of the newest clinical research location in Lawrenceville, Georgia, a vibrant community just northeast of Atlanta. Dr. Adebayo Akinsola will be leading the team as the Principal Investigator. He brings over two decades of experience in both clinical research and private practice. A graduate of the University of Ilorin Medical School in Nigeria in 1997, he also received his pediatric medical training at University College Hospital in Nigeria, before continuing his education at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. Dr. Akinsola partnered with Tekton in 2019 to oversee clinical trials through his private practice, BayBol Pediatrics, and through his dedication to research, he has decided to grow with Tekton and lead the new team at the Lawrenceville clinic.

Dr. Akinsola states, “Our aim is to contribute to the development of a better, more advanced, healthcare industry by identifying innovative solutions for common health issues which will lead to advanced care for patients all over the world. This new location means that our team can continue working toward a healthier future, hand in hand, with the community that we serve for years to come.”

Taking over for Dr. Akinsola at the Chamblee location will be his longtime colleague, Dr. Adebowale Akintayo. She will oversee the clinical research trials as the Principal Investigator, while collaborating with Dr. Akinsola and Tekton as the organizational network continues to thrive and grow. Dr. Akintayo received her medical degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria in 2005 and worked at the Adeoyo Maternity Hospital in Nigeria until moving to Atlanta in 2008 to pursue her Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management at the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. She graduated from Emory in 2010, and subsequently completed her residency in Family and Preventive Medicine where she is still an adjunct assistant professor.

Tekton Research welcomes Dr. Akintayo to the organization and is excited to work with her to strengthen the commitment to clinical research innovation and patient satisfaction. Together, Tekton will continue to deliver the highest level of patient-centered care translating into new and more effective healthcare for everyone.
