Dr. Jeffrey Shenfeld is an accomplished internist who treats a variety of complex chronic disorders in adults related to memory problems, dizziness and vertigo, and more. He leads a multispecialty group of physicians, including board-certified neurologists and psychiatrists, and is fluent in Spanish, Hebrew, Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish. The site focuses on CNS and psychiatric research, including dementia, anxiety, mood disorders, balance/vertigo, and related conditions.
Dr. Shenfeld earned his medical degree from the American Medical Program at Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv, Israel. He completed his internal medicine residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, part of Northwell Heath in New York, where he served as a senior resident leader of interdisciplinary rounding, a resident mentor, and a resident secretary. During his training, he was nominated as Resident of the Year in 2021.
He remains actively involved in service and outreach, currently volunteering as a physician at Lenox Hill shelters in New York, as well as supporting community events such as the Lenox Hill Fair and volunteering with WIZO across multiple locations. Dr. Shenfeld is also a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
