Jeffrey Shenfeld, MD, is a board-certified internist and Principal Investigator leading a multispecialty CNS and psychiatric research site with board-certified neurology and psychiatry collaborators. His multilingual background and adult chronic care experience support studies in dementia, mood disorders, anxiety, balance and vertigo, and related CNS conditions.

Dr. Shenfeld is fluent in Spanish, Hebrew, Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish, and his site serves a patient population that includes a large Korean American community.

Jeffrey Shenfeld, MD

Jeffrey Shenfeld, MD, is a board-certified internist and Principal Investigator who treats complex chronic adult conditions related to memory problems, dizziness, vertigo, and related concerns. He leads a multispecialty group of physicians, including board-certified neurologists and psychiatrists, with a research focus on CNS and psychiatric conditions.

Dr. Shenfeld earned his medical degree from the American Medical Program at Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv, Israel. He completed internal medicine residency at Lenox Hill Hospital, part of Northwell Health in New York, where he served as a senior resident leader of interdisciplinary rounding, resident mentor, and resident secretary. During training, he was nominated as Resident of the Year in 2021.

Dr. Shenfeld is fluent in Spanish, Hebrew, Russian, Ukrainian, and Polish. His site serves a patient population that includes a large Korean American community, supporting access for studies that require multilingual communication and community trust.

He remains actively involved in service and outreach, including volunteer physician work at Lenox Hill shelters in New York, support for community events such as the Lenox Hill Fair, and volunteer work with WIZO across multiple locations. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
