Ashok Devatha, MD, is a board-certified family physician and Principal Investigator with more than 30 years in medicine, clinical research experience and clinical trial experience. His private practice, New Carlisle Family Practice, is known for comprehensive care that empowers families through trust and education.
Dr. Devatha earned his medical degree from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Science in Bengaluru, India, and completed residency training at Mercy Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. He is licensed to practice medicine in Ohio, Michigan, Virginia, and India.
His site draws from both the clinic’s patient population and the Dayton metro area, supporting community-based research across obesity, diabetes, hypertension, atopic dermatitis, COPD, asthma, urgent care, and additional primary care indications.
Beyond his clinical and research work, Dr. Devatha has a long history of community service.
