Dr. Arti Thangudu is a triple board-certified physician in in endocrinology, internal medicine and lifestyle medicine with more than a decade of clinical experience. She provides integrative, lifestyle-focused care centered on sustainable behavior and habit change to help patients manage and prevent chronic conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disease, obesity, and women’s health concerns.
Dr. Thangudu earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Tulane University and went on to pursue a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Her approach to care is deeply rooted in nutrition and lifestyle science. She completed advanced nutrition training through Cornell University’s Center for Nutrition Studies and is certified in Plant-Based Nutrition as well as by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. In addition, she is a certified 200-hour yoga teacher, incorporating mindfulness and stress-reduction strategies into her care model to support whole-person health.
Dr. Thangudu is the CEO and Founder of Complete Medicine, a Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice offering personalized, relationship-based care. Through both in-person and virtual services, she supports patients across major Texas cities, including Houston, San Antonio, and Austin, with a focus on empowering individuals to take control of their metabolic and overall health.
Recognized as a trusted expert in metabolic and hormone health, Dr. Thangudu is frequently invited to speak on podcasts covering topics such as hormones, diabetes, and sustainable weight loss.
