Tekton Research Partners with Endocrinology Specialist in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metropolitan Area

A leader in clinical research, Tekton Research is proud to announce a powerful partnership with Dr. Pablo F. Mora and the opening of two new research clinics.

As research continues to advance patient care across many platforms in the United States, Tekton Research continues to move forward as a leader in the clinical research industry. This mission has led Tekton to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in their latest partnership with renowned endocrinologist, Dr. Pablo F. Mora, MD, FACE, MSc, CDCES. Dr. Mora is currently an endocrinologist at North Texas Diabetes & Endocrinology of Plano. He is also a Clinical Professor of Medicine with the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) Medical Center.

A native of Costa Rica, Dr. Mora earned his medical degree at the University of Costa Rica School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine, as well as a fellowship in critical care, at the University Hospitals in San Jose. He then completed a fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at UTSW, and he earned a master’s degree in clinical research from UTSW Allied Health School.

Dr. Mora is a Certified Diabetes Educator, and a diplomate of the Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism Subspecialties Board of the American Board of Internal Medicine. His clinical areas of interest include: transitional programs for individuals with type 1 diabetes, modern insulin delivery systems, and clinical research pertaining to pharmacological interventions for types 1 and 2 diabetes and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).

Tekton welcomes Dr. Mora to the clinical research family. He will serve as the Principal Investigator at their two new clinics in the DFW areas of Irving and McKinney. This new endeavor will be Tekton’s first venture into the DFW area and they look forward to a long and productive partnership with Dr. Mora.

Dr. Mora is passionate about clinical research and states that, “The world of metabolic and hormonal diseases is full of opportunities to discover new interventions, both pharmacological and technological, that will not only improve the health of patients, but will also enhance their quality of life. Clinical trial research often provides a broader picture of patient health and allows us to unmask conditions that would otherwise go undetected. There has been massive advances in the management of many chronic conditions such as diabetes, based only on the last 25 years of very active clinical research on this condition.”

Dr. Mora will be joining the Tekton team at the upcoming 83rd Scientific Sessions. This is an annual meeting of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) that will take place in San Diego from June 23-26.
