This expansion hits another milestone as the inaugural Tekton Research site in the state of Virginia.
Dr. Omer Abdullah, an internist with over 20 years of clinical practice and research experience, leads the new clinic in Burke. Dr. Abdullah’s extensive background spans small-town community settings and midsize and large academic medical centers. He has held several teaching appointments and has been a principal investigator in numerous clinical trials. His research primarily focuses on internal medicine, diabetes, and metabolic trials.
For the past year, Dr. Abdullah has been serving the Northern Virginia community of Burke through Burke Healthcare Solutions, a practice he founded. There, he works with a team of pediatricians and mid-level providers to deliver high-quality medical care to patients of all ages. His commitment to patient-centric care and medical innovation remains unwavering, and he views clinical trials as an excellent opportunity for participants and providers to contribute to the evolution of treatment options and improve patient outcomes.
