Lupus can significantly affect the quality of life due to its chronic nature and the potential for severe flares. The disease can lead to complications such as kidney damage, cardiovascular disease, and an increased risk of infections.
Insurance is not required to join this clinical research study and study-related care may be provided at no cost. Participants may be compensated up to $2,800 for time and travel.
You may be eligible to take part if you:
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Have been diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE or lupus) within the past 2 years
- Have early stage SLE (“early SLE”)
