About This Research Study
Pneumococcal disease is caused by bacteria that can infect different parts of the body and is a leading cause of serious illness in people of all ages. Pneumococcal disease is spread from person to person through coughing, sneezing, and close contact. Tekton Research is now enrolling participants in a clinical study evaluating a pneumococcal vaccine for adults 50 years and older with no prior pneumococcal vaccination. Qualified participants may be compensated up to $1,150 for time and travel.
Eligible participants…
- Must be 50 years and older
- Must have not had a prior pneumococcal vaccine
- May receive compensation for study-related time
- Do not need insurance to join this study
