About This Research Study
Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is an autoimmune disease where the immune system destroys insulin-producing cells in the pancreas, resulting in little to no insulin production. Type 2 diabetes (T2D) occurs when the body becomes resistant to insulin and/or does not produce enough, often linked to lifestyle and genetics. Both cause high blood sugar but differ in cause, onset, and treatment. Tekton Research is now enrolling adults with T1D, and adults with insulin-requiring T2D for a clinical study evaluating an investigational insulin pump in combination with the DS5 CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor). Eligible participants may be compensated for time and travel.

- Must be aged 18-85 years with a diagnosis of T1D for at least 6 months OR must be aged 18-85 years with a diagnosis of insulin-requiring T2D for at least one year
- Must be willing to take an approved insulin
- May receive compensation for study-related time
- Do not need insurance to join this study
