About This Research Study
Researchers are evaluating an investigational automated insulin delivery system to learn whether it is safe and effective for people with diabetes. The system is an investigational version of the Omnipod 5® Automated Insulin Delivery System. It includes:
- An insulin pump (Pod)
- Continuous glucose monitor (CGM)
- Automated insulin delivery software
The system is designed to automatically adjust insulin delivery based on glucose readings from the CGM. Unlike current automated insulin delivery systems that require users to enter information about meals, the investigational system is designed to detect glucose changes associated with meals and automatically adjust insulin delivery. Eligible participants may be compensated for study-related time.
Eligible participants…
- Must be age 18 to 75
- Must be diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes
- Must be currently using at least one daily injection of long-acting insulin
- May receive compensation for study-related travel and study-related expenses
- Do not need insurance to join this study.
