Dr. Mora provides an overview of the Phase 2 results for investigational zenagamtide (amycretin) in adults with type 2 diabetes. The findings were recently presented at the American Diabetes Association Scientific Sessions.
In the 36-week study, once-weekly subcutaneous zenagamtide, which targets GLP-1 and amylin receptors, was associated with improved glycemic control and body weight reductions of up to 14.6%.
