Tekton is expanding to Houston, TX, with the addition of Lawrence D. Ginsberg, MD. Dr. Ginsberg will lead adult and pediatric psychiatry studies as a Principal Investigator from his clinic, Red Oak Psychiatry Associates. This marks Tekton’s first research location in Houston.
Dr. Ginsberg has practiced psychiatry since 1985 and has served as president and chief executive officer of Red Oak Psychiatry Associates since 1991. He began working in clinical research in 1988 and has served as a Principal Investigator since 1992.
His experience includes more than 100 central nervous system clinical trial protocols involving adult and pediatric populations. His research has addressed major depressive disorder, treatment-resistant depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, and related psychiatric conditions.
Dr. Ginsberg also brings an extensive scholarly record. He has contributed to more than 100 publications and scientific presentations, including peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, posters, and continuing medical education monographs. His publication record spans psychopharmacology, mood disorders, ADHD, autism, and adult and pediatric psychiatry.
Tekton’s expansion into Houston adds experienced Principal Investigator oversight and an active, longstanding psychiatric practice to its growing research network. Through Red Oak Psychiatry Associates, Tekton will connect more people in the Houston area with opportunities to participate in psychiatry research.
