A native of India, Samata Basani, MD completed her medical school in India. She completed her residency and worked as a chief resident at Atlanta Medical Center, Atlanta. Dr. Basani completed her fellowship in Endocrinology at U.T Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas.
Dr. Basani is board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism and Internal Medicine. She is a member of American College of Clinical Endocrinologists, Indian Medical Association. She is currently on staff and provides endocrine consultation services at Medical City Las Colinas and Baylor Medical Center, Irving.
Dr. Basani enjoys gardening, exploring nutritional contents while cooking and spending time with her kids.
